Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

 

 

The FP&A manager position leads all financial planning cycles for Jordan and Palestine markets and manages different analyses to support key management decision-making. This requires a strong technical background in FP&A, a deep understanding of the Multicategories' Tobacco business (combustible, HTS, and Shisha), excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally, mainly with Marketing & Sales, Entity Finance, P&C, and GSC, as well as with Global Verticalized Functions such as Corporate Accounting and Controlling, Tax, Treasury, GIT, Logistics & Warehousing.


 

Main tasks

 

  • Management of high-quality, accurate development and monitoring of the ASP, OL, and LE exercises in line with JTI reporting guidelines
  • Full responsibility for handling all Financial Reports, including P&L, Volumes, OPEX, marketing spend, Balance sheet and cash flow, and variance analysis
  • Play a key role in validating the month-end closing financials with the support of the accounting department
  • Effectively lead pricing simulation scenarios during Tax/Manufacturer-led price increase to provide the management team with the financial impact on the company's OCC
  • Providing cross-functional support to all different departments within JTI Jordan through solid financial input for business initiatives and financial models, enabling Investments tracking (Marketing, OPEX, CAPEX) and commercial assessment of those initiatives                                                                                                  

 

Qualifications and work experience

 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a similar position within an international environment. Tobacco industry experience is a plus
  • University Degree in Finance (CPA, CMA, CFA are a plus)
  • Fluent English and Arabic
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong financial modeling skills
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, and other ERP systems
  • Excellent knowledge of Financial and Management Accounting
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
