People & Culture Business Partner Algeri
We are looking for a People & Culture Business Partner Algeria for a position located in Alger, Algeria and reporting to People & Culture Director Northern & Western Africa.
The ideal candidate will mainly manage and organize all P&C activities in Algeria and lead/participate to NWA Cluster P&C initiatives including but not limited to Talent Management, L&D, DEI, Well-being, Employer Branding & Rewards (compensation & benefits)
What you will be doing
As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will
- Oversee the Employee Lifecycle in Algeria, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboardin
- Provide local support for all transfers/departures to Algeria market, housing, and administration process.
- Support Algeria team with end to end process for performance appraisal, talent management, Annual Salary Review and any day-to-day support on P&C matters.
- Ensure all market P&C activities are compliant with all internal and external requirements. Maintain and ensure comprehensive and compliant local labor legislation from an administration perspective, i.e. labor agreements and personnel records.
- Lead Global/Local Employer Branding Strategies to increase brand awareness and contribute to building JTI as a Top Employer Brand in Algeria Market.
- Participate in P&C N&WA Cluster Initiatives including but not limited to: Talent Management, Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and Learning and Development (L&D)
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of strong experience in HR practices preferably in an international company (FMCG) with multicultural background
- Fluent English and local language is a must
- Expert in building recruitment strategy and team building capabilities
- Ability to adapt HR strategies to different cultural and legal contexts
- Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR best practices
- Solid project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Advanced user of MS Office and SAP system
- High level of ownership & proactivity
- Expertise in Rewards Area and exposure to payline
