Commercial Finance Manager

We are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team and help drive business performance through insightful financial analysis, strong commercial understanding and effective business partnering.

WHAT WILL YOU DO? 
As Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial analysis, performance insights and business partnering support to Commercial teams. Working closely with the Commercial Finance Lead Manager, you will contribute to business performance monitoring, data-driven decision-making and effective investment management. Through insightful financial analysis you will help identify opportunities, manage risks and support profitable growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Build strong partnerships with Commercial teams, using financial expertise and business understanding to challenge assumptions, evaluate alternatives and support high-quality decision-making.
• Manage key financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and reporting, while monitoring actual results against plans and identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare the monthly Commercial KPIs Scorecard deck and provide insights for data-driven decision making and ROI evaluation.
• Develop, maintain and enhance Industry Models to evaluate tax and pricing scenarios and support tax strategy decisions.

• Drive the enhancement and automation of financial reporting processes by improving existing tools and files, developing Power BI dashboards and reports, and streamlining recurring analyses to improve efficiency, data accuracy and visibility of business performance.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 4+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Business Controlling, preferably within a multinational FMCG environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business; postgraduate/professional qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in planning, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial and commercial data into actionable business insights.
• Strong business partnering, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and support decision-making.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN 6 MONTHS?

• Independently manage your core financial scope, including M&S Investment planning and controlling with a strong focus on accuracy and timely delivery.
• Provide meaningful financial insights and recommendations, confidently identifying key performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Establish trusted relationships with Commercial and Finance stakeholders, becoming a reliable point of contact for day-to-day financial matters and decision support.
• Proactively identify and contribute to improvements in financial processes, reporting and ways of working.
