Supply Chain Associate - Angola & DRC
What this position is about – Purpose
Associate supply chain provides cross functional support on all elements of the lean toolkit including value stream and process mapping, standard work, tier process
What Will You Do – Responsibilities
- Managing the supply chain that forecasts demand for products to ensure their availability and delivery to customers. Ensuring a balance between stock levels to serve customers without having a surplus. Helping to ensure that these levels are met consistently and economically. Based on Production and Loading Plans, secure shipment and transport to destination, complying with timelines set for each market
- Interacting with stakeholders in sales, marketing, finance, supply and manufacturing operations, GBS and Transport Service Providers
- Tracking product stock. Maintain knowledge and understanding of current and future trends. Generate progress reports and presentations. Identify forecast changes. Issue reports and alerts to changing market needs (trends happening in different ports of entry/regions in DRC. Securing effective import process for Angola market liaising with GBS and clearing agent and Finance Department
- Constant follow up of the Supply Chain for the markets of DRC and Angola, to identify possible bottlenecks that may negativelly impact the business, avoiding stock shortages or surplusses
- Reporting & Filing of all custom related documentation. Ensure good organization of supply chain. Review and assist with planning requirements for business operations & develop and maintain documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities
Who we are looking for – Requirements
- Degree in Management, Engineering, Business/Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Management, or Accounting
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- 2+ years of applicable experience in a similar work environment
- Good understanding of the Supply Chain and Import and Export process
- Knowledge of DRC, Angola and Tanzania Tax structure and Export procedures is a differential
- Good level of English and French language
- Knowledge of Portuguese language is a differential
