Utilities & Facilities Manager

This role is responsible for factory utilities equipment and the deployment, monitoring and improvements of Energy DMS (Daily Management System) in compliance with JTI and IWS Standards. You will support your subordinates in meeting set targets in line with given directions and EHS guidelines. You will also coordinate maintenance and improvement activities with respective factory teams and look after training needs & activities for your team.

Position:

• Assures all utilities functionality to support the production of different brands. Allocates workforce and gets prompt actions to meet required production demand in compliance with JTI manufacturing procedures and standards
• Responsible for contacting Maintenance Team and Contractors for mechanical modification needs to meet factory demands and to improve utilities’ performance. Supports and participates in continuous improvement  activities with their team
• Responsible for continuous technical knowledge improvement of  subordinates and communicates with their superior for training needs together with their assessment
• Lead team operational work according to IWS standards

Requirements:

• University Degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 4-5 years of experience in FMCG/Pharma manufacturing environment is a must
• Knowledge of factory energy management systems
• Knowledge of SAP is nice-to-have
• Fluent in English and Arabic, spoken & written
• Budget planning & execution skills
• Troubleshooting skills
• Project management skills
