Tax Associate - Middle East

Join our Middle East Tax team and gain hands-on experience in tax compliance, reporting and advisory matters within a multinational environment. This developmental role supports the Middle East Tax Manager and offers exposure to both direct and indirect taxation, with a clear path toward senior and managerial tax roles.

Position:

• Tax Compliance & Filing: Support tax filings (CIT, VAT, WHT, excise, customs), reconciliations to SAP and statutory accounts, and timely compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  
  
• Tax Reporting & Controls: Assist with tax provisions, current and deferred tax calculations (IAS 12), and maintenance of tax controls and documentation.
  
  
• Audit Support & Authority Interaction: Support tax audits, tax authority inquiries, and coordination with external advisors.
  
  
• Business Support & Regulatory Monitoring: Provide day-to-day tax support, monitor regulatory changes, and review transactions from a tax perspective.
  
  
• Projects & Process Improvements: Contribute to regional tax initiatives, data analysis and ad-hoc projects.
  
  

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in tax, audit or accounting.
  
  
• University degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or Audit.
  
  
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ADIT - in progress or planned) is an advantage.
  
  
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft applications and SAP.
  
  
• Relevant experience in professional services, industry, or a multinational environment preferred.
