Procurement Specialist
This role manages local procurement activities, including requirement consolidation, bidding, negotiations, and supplier performance tracking. It leads tactical and supports strategic initiatives, driving continuous process improvement. The position collaborates with P2P, CC, and GBS Purchasing teams to ensure alignment and efficiency, builds strong partnerships with local suppliers to secure business continuity, and delivers on defined targets and KPIs in full compliance with company policies and procedures.
Position:

Manage local procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and services in line with market and factory requirements.

Ensure effective use of procurement tools, proper process documentation, and full compliance with company policies and procedures.

Maintain and develop relationships with existing suppliers, regularly assess their performance, and drive continuous improvement in collaboration and service quality.

Support the Payment Team in procurement-related matters and resolve supplier performance issues when required.

Monitor compliance with corporate procurement policies, code of conduct, local regulations, and audit requirements (including JSOX).

Identify sourcing requirements, lead or support bidding and negotiation processes, and ensure the best combination of quality, cost, and service.

Deliver on savings targets and contribute to strategic sourcing plans and decisions.

Foster strong business partnerships and promote a customer-oriented approach across all procurement activities.
Requirements:

University degree in Finance, Business, or Engineering; Master’s degree (MBA/MSc) is an asset.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar procurement or sourcing role.

Proficiency in English (business level); knowledge of another language is an advantage.

Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to perform cost breakdown analysis and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, fostering collaboration and effective cross-functional partnerships.

Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for spend analysis and reporting.

Understanding of P2P processes, audit, and compliance requirements.

Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems will be considered an advantage.
