Quality Assurance and improvement Specialist

 

Objective

The QA & I Specialist is responsible for managing stock keeping unit bill of materials (SKU BOM) changes, inspecting incoming materials, supporting prototype and product launch activities, overseeing NTM defect management, and ensuring adherence to quality standards while supervising QA/QI inspectors.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage SKU BOM updates and product specification changes.
  • Conduct incoming raw material inspections and handle non‑conforming materials.
  • Support prototype production, product launches, and relaunches.
  • Monitor blend adherence and manage substitution lists.
  • Perform monthly collaborative studies and reports.
  • Coordinate NTM defect management and MRB activities.
  • Maintain quality documents, IMI standards, and artwork/color references.
  • Supervise QA and QI inspectors.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly quality reports.
  • Support IWS, ISO, DDS and other quality initiatives.

 

Requirements

  • Education: BSc in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Quality or related field
  • Strong documentation, inspection, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality systems
  • Ability to supervise inspection activities effectively
