Procurement Intern

 

Objective

Support procurement activities for indirect materials while ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end procurement activities for indirect materials, including RFQs (Request for Quotation) and RFPs (Request for Proposal).
  • Assist in collecting and comparing supplier quotations using a structured three-quote approach.
  • Perform basic cost analysis, including evaluation of unit price, transportation, taxes, and lead times.
  • Maintain and update procurement trackers, ensuring accuracy and data cleanliness.
  • Prepare and organize procurement documents such as RFQs, supplier offers, bid comparison sheets, and vendor files.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and approval workflows.
  • Support stakeholder communication through clear email correspondence and timely follow-ups.
  • Assist in preparing KPI analysis and reports using PowerPoint.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes.

 

Requirements

  • Recent graduate in Supply Chain Management (preferred), Business, Finance, or Economics.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Organized with a basic understanding of procurement processes.
