Reports to: People and Culture Manager
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Program Duration: 12-month paid internship program
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented People and Culture Intern to support key HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, learning and development, and people operations. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to build practical experience in Human Resources and contribute to a positive employee experience.
What you will do:
- Support recruitment activities, including CV screening, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and documentation.
- Assist with onboarding activities to help new employees have a smooth and positive joining experience.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communication activities, and P&C events.
- Maintain and update HR data, trackers, and reports with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support learning and development activities, including training coordination, attendance tracking, and follow-up communication.
Who we are looking for:
- Fresh graduate in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
