Packer Opreator

Job Objective

To operate cigarette packing machines efficiently and safely to achieve daily production targets while producing high-quality products in accordance with established operating procedures, quality standards, IWS principles, and EHS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cigarette packing machines in line with approved operating procedures and production schedules.
• Complete effective shift handovers and maintain accurate production records.
• Verify packaging materials against production orders and report any discrepancies.
• Conduct machine cleaning, inspections, and basic troubleshooting activities to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine quality checks on finished products and packaging materials, identifying and reporting deviations promptly.
• Monitor machine performance and record downtime as required
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and 5S3R standards at all times
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, General Mechanics, Metal Fabrication, or a related technical field.

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
