General Accounts Supervisor
Objective
Under the supervision of the Entity Finance Manager, the role is responsible for Plan, direct, coordinate, and control the statutory trial balance and overall general accounting activities, including accruals, journal postings, account reconciliations, and audit coordination.
Responsibilities
- Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Review financial transactions and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Oversee accruals, advances, and down payments, ensuring proper tracking and follow-up.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and monitor Key Account Reconciliation (KAR) and resolve outstanding issues.
- Support preparation of Group Trial Balance.
- Follow up on outstanding ledger items and ensure timely resolution.
- Lead and develop team members to ensure performance and accountability.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- ACCA or Chartered qualification (preferred)
- Proficient English language skills
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in finance
- Or 3+ years in FMCG finance within regional/global reporting environments
Skills
- Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Navision
- Strong audit and reconciliation skills
- Leadership and team management capability
- Attention to detail and analytical mindset
