Function: Corporate Affairs & Communication

Reports to: Communication Manager

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Program Duration: 12-month paid internship program

 

We are looking for a proactive and creative Communications Intern to support internal and external communication activities, content creation, corporate engagement initiatives, and employee communication campaigns. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to build hands-on experience in corporate communications and storytelling.

 

What you will do:

  • Support the development and execution of internal communication campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Assist in preparing leadership communication materials, including messages, announcements, and visual content.
  • Help coordinate internal events, including town halls, engagement activities, and employee campaigns.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread communication materials to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Maintain and update internal communication platforms and content calendars.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and collaboration.

 

Who we are looking for:

  • Fresh graduate in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong organizational, creative, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with design tools such as Canva or video editing tools is an advantage.
