“I’m really glad I took the decision to work as an automation engineer at JTI because I get to put into practice what I studied at university and it’s exactly what I was prepared for – it’s my dream job. As well as automation I get to manage all sorts of other projects, but my main responsibility is to make everything work with the real challenge to make it work better. That’s what I like the most.”

Tobacco is the most widely grown non-food crop in the world, but it takes significant skill to consistently source the highest quality and most taste-appropriate tobacco that our brands demand.

We have 25 factories manufacturing our products around the world – it’s a high-speed, 24 hour operation that has to meet demand and delivery without fail, linked by complex, highly efficient networks.
