Abdalla's story

Meet Abdallah, who has been with JTI for almost 18 years and is still going strong. He started out in Brand Marketing in Tanzania, then moved to Ireland for an assignment, relocated again to the Trade Marketing department at JTI HQ in Geneva, and is now the Country Manager for Slovakia. 

At JTI, you never know what’s around the corner. It's a place to grow and discover new opportunities: in 2022, 13% of our employees started a new role and 429 of them moved to a new country. This is one of the things Abdallah finds most exciting about his job — the opportunity to change locations, support different markets, and collaborate with “some of the most amazing minds” from around the world. He says his most cherished memories at JTI are related to the different places he visited, where he learned so much from the different people, their way of thinking and their ability to tackle challenges that were very specific to their own markets.“
