Legal Technology Manager

 

The position is responsible for day-to-day management of legal technology solutions, identification and implementation of new solutions, management of a team of technology associates providing support to legal technology users. The position is expected to contribute to finding new ways, solutions and tools for making the work of a global legal team members free of technical challanges and operational bottlenecks.

Main areas of responsibility:

 

  • Leading the configuration, administration and governance of contract lifecycle management tools, matter management tools, external counsel spend tracking tools, litigation reporting tools, contract repositories and e-signature solutions.
  • Generating solutions and implementing automation of legal work, optimization of existing workflows, assessment of cost and workload impact; enablement of informed decision making at senior management level of a legal team (dashboards, advanced analysis, bottlenecks definition and solutioning).
  • Designing and implementing self-service solutions in legal, risk compliance, obligations management, audit facilitation, workload reporting, sources of information for the organization.
  • Leading data analytics activities related to contracts and legal documents, subsequent projects, migration of large contract populations between legal technology solutions.
  • Driving effective solutions related to legal technology platforms and systems functionality and usability.
  • Managing, motivating and educating a team of subordinates.

 

You as a professional:

 

  • Have a University degree (preferably technology, business operations or legal).
  • Previous experience of working with legal technology required, experience as a lawyer or contract manager will be a plus.
  • Strong command of the English Language (oral and written).
  • Strong problem solver and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
