The incumbent will support the lead in developing and planning trade and consumer programs based on brand channel strategy. He/she will help drive on-time and in-full execution of trade and consumer activities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conceptualize channel specific promotions that will meet brand and sales objectives. Analyze and evaluate complex marketing and sales situations, and recommends and implements effective solutions.

2. Develop new product launch support programs that will drive awareness and trial in all identified distribution points. Plans out pipeline volumes, distribution, merchandising, and pricing standards in close coordination with Sales and Marketing.

3. Manage promotional agencies and ensure effective operations within agreed budgets, objectives and timeframes.

4. Qualifies proposals for sales-initiated promotions and recommend changes consistent with brand strategies and budget.

5. Manage budget to ensure that trade investments deliver short, medium and/or long term goals.

6. Develop tools that will enable sales team to effectively and efficiently negotiate and implement consumer and trade activities.

7. Monitor and analyze sales promotion results to determine cost effectiveness of promotion. Perform regular field & customer visits in order to understand market trends, channel dynamics, competitor practices, customer & consumer behaviour and evaluate field force execution. Prepare summary reports after those visits highlighting opportunities related to JTI execution and competitor activities.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

1. University degree 

2. Advanced MS Office skills

3. Good command of written and spoken English

4. Communication skills

5. Project management skills
