Assistant Warehouse Coordinator
Position purpose:
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining smooth warehouse day-to-day operations & people management ensuring that staff comply with health, safety and standard operating procedures. Also, you will be responsible for stock keeping standards of finished goods & POSMs and continuous improvement within the warehouse to optimize the warehouse space regarding to JTI standards, inventory stock count and reporting any discrepancies to the management, maintaining 100% of inventory accuracy.
Also, you will manage daily transactions of finished goods and POSMs along with the required documentation and stock coverage days per SKU to achieve the company objectives. Another of your functions will be to help the warehouse coordinator receive the products (RMC, Molasses and POSM ) from the factory in good condition and accurately review the documents.
What will you do – responsibilities:
- Planning
- Plan weekly orders of Finished goods to ensure having sufficient stock to meet company objectives
- Manage the warehouse space to ensure proper utilization of warehouse capacity following JTI standards
- Monitor the stock level of all SKUs to ensure meeting the target DIOs
- Execution
- Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the TME system with 100% accuracy during the daily vans and inventory stock count process
- Record all warehouse goods transactions (in & out) on the TME system along with archiving related documentation
- Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company’s procedures and requirements and minimise the damaged goods and implement all EHS procedures
- Business Information
- Daily reporting of the warehouse stocks closing of all items and Reporting any shortage incidence in the vans/inventory to the management to take the necessary actions
Who are we looking for – requirements:
- Higher Education
- 2+ years experience as a warehouse keeper in FMCG companies
- Good Logistics & Warehousing understanding
- Good Data Analysis skills & analytical skills (including JTI system e.g. TME)
- English level: Good (Reading - Writing)
- Computer: Proficiency (MS Office suite)
- Good competence in Communication skills (verbal & written)
