MASTER DATA SPECIALIST (FIXED-TERM)

 

The position is part of the Purchasing Operations and Master Dara team with the following key responsibilities:

 

a) Execute the Vendor & Customer  Master Data process for a selection of Market/Factories in scope of the Manila GBS;

b) Have end-to-end understanding of P2P process and all JSOX and compliance controls;

c) Provide quality customer service by working closely with all stakeholders;

d) Find solutions and identify opportunities for process improvements to drive business targets and KPIs;

e) Support Purchasing & Reporting CPL with regular reviews of documentation to ensure up-dates are reflected in a timely manner.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

1.) Core Service Delivery

 

  • Ongoing operations: Vendor Master Data Maintenance, Customer Master Data Maintenance, Prices Maintenance
  • Process high volumes of Vendor & Customer creation into SAP system in line with Policies and Procedures whilst heavily focusing on accuracy
  • Challenge non-compliant documents and address them to end-users/requestors  whilst still meeting KPI's and SLA's set
  • Organise own workload to meet daily targets and work very closely with the immediate and wider P2P team to provide support when required
  • Take accountability to make decisions that will support the speed to provide team results.

 

2.) Process Improvement

 

  • Support CPM and Expert in process and system improvements by proposing optimization, simplification and automation.

 

3.) Control and Compliance

 

  • Perform the assigned JSOX / operational controls in accordance with the internal documentation
  • Escalate all controls failures and ensure mitigation actions are in place for each failure

 

4.) Teamwork

 

  • Handle ad-hoc tasks delegated by the CPM
  • Assist and provide support to other GBS groups within the area of responsibility
  • Take part in local and global projects upon assignment by the CPM
  • Propose process improvements in the area of the responsibility

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Someone with a University degree (Business or Finance)
  • Proven experience of working in a Vendor & Customer Master Data
  • Proven ability to process high volumes with high accuracy to tight / moving deadlines
  • Experience of working with Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Service Level Agreements (SLT's)
  • Experience in a Shared Service Centers is a plus
  • Strong command of English Language (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of languages of the markets within the GBS scope is a plus
  • Understand Purchase to Pay (P2P) end to end processes particular to Master Dara process
  • Experience in Master Data Price Maintenance
  • Intercompany Master Data experience
  • Structured with attention to details
  • Customer-centric Strong analytical skills
  • Able to support process improvements initiatives
  • Able to recommend solutions for problems
  • Able to make decisions under pressure, work to tight deadlines
  • Proficient SAP User
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel user
  • Support Team objectives
