WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or any related course
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering or related field
• Preferably coming from the tobacco or FMCG industry
• MS Office application and SAP knowledge is a plus
• Advanced knowledge of the following systems: Siemens Simatic Step, Simatic Step 5, Beckhoff TwinCut 2 & 3, Rexroth Drives, Simatic Scout, Omron Camera Controller, Keyence Camera XG, Lexium Drives, Logic Builder, Simatic starter, Sick SOPAS

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Provide Production support by keeping the Maker and Packer Process Automation system in optimum condition. Attending to any automation program/system issues that will impact production.
•  Works very closely with the maintenance team and line electrician to optimize and stabilize the production process.
• Perform system and or hardware maintenance. Ensure all software and systems have updated backups. Responsible for the implementation and self-audit of ROBUSTIFICATION in the Make Pack Department
• Collaborate with the factory engineering department and equipment suppliers (OEM) for any projects, new machine installation, and or upgrades involving changes to the Make Pack automation system.
• Provides electricians with technical support and advice within the realm of programming and any other technical issues.
