Building & Utilities Manager

Department: Factory Engineering Romania

Direct Manager: Factory Engineering Director 

Employment: Permanent

Location: Bucharest, Romania 

What this position is about: 

The position holder supervises the utilities and buildings department regarding their maintenance and operation within standard parameters. This position also involves constructive modifications, installation, and commissioning of new production capacities and other technical equipment following the factory's development plan.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

• Maintaining an efficient system for utility supply, capable of distributing all necessary utilities according to specified parameters
• Coordinating the service, general maintenance, and repair of the utility and building systems at JTI Manufacturing
• Establishing relationships with utility suppliers and monitoring monthly consumption
• Installing and commissioning new production capacities according to the company's development plan
• Managing energy following company requirements and legislation
• Maintaining fire suppression systems in compliance with legislative and company requirements
• Analyzing and monitoring energy consumption to achieve established objectives
• Coordinating equipment and personnel checks by ISCIR legislation

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

• Higher technical education
• Over 5 years of experience in building and utility maintenance activities in an industrial environment
• Advanced knowledge of Romanian and English  
• Very good PC skills (MS Office) and SAP
• Strong project management expertise.
• Knowledge of utility management in technical developments applicable to factories and the environment
• Technical knowledge in the utility industry and building management
• Knowledge of monitoring and managing utility consumption
