Strategic Insights Manager RoMoBu 

 

 

What this position is about:  

 

The position is responsible for providing strategic insights on all Tobacco categories based on research data as well as data analysis for formulating portfolio, brand, trade, and distribution strategies. He/she will run marketing research projects and relationships with research agencies and will ensure in-time and quality delivery of all data sets/information for any of the markets in the Cluster (Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova).  

  

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

 

  • Apply market research data to derive strategic insights on Tobacco categories.
  • Handle research projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with research agencies to apply their expertise and resources effectively.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats in the market.
  • Conduct pricing studies, social media listening, and retail audit data analysis to advise strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide support and insights for the development and execution of e-portfolio, brand, trade, and distribution strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape market.

 

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of research experience in an FMCG company or marketing research agency.
  • Proven track record in handling marketing research projects.
  • Good background in consumer analysis (like pricing studies, social media listening, and consumer experience research; retail audit is a plus), and experience in qualitative and quantitative consumer research project management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI (knowledge of SPSS or other data analysis software is a plus).
  • Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Great teammate in an agile environment. demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, fostering collaboration and partnership among colleagues.

 

 

Other skills: 

 

  • Market research project management skills on all levels including briefing, fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to extract actionable conclusions and insights from consumer, shopper, and trade data.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large quantities of information, including analysis and systematization.
  • Results-oriented with a broad-minded personality, demonstrating responsibility and a growth-oriented attitude.
  • Proactive and "can do" attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service even under time pressure.
