D&IT Solutions Manager

What this position is about – Purpose:

JTI Romania wants you in its Eastern Europe D&IT team as D&IT Business Solution Manager.

You will integrate in a young and very friendly team in our Bucharest HQ and you will contribute to the continued success of our business in the region. You will do this by managing existing business applications and implementing new ones (with focus on Data Integrations – EDI and Logistics), participating in international projects and collaborating across departments in JTI worldwide.

Your role is to collaborate with our business colleagues from the region and contribute with analytical thinking, technology know-how and business process knowledge to deliver highly successful business solutions.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to Eastern Europe + GTR region business success through optimization of current processes and implementation of new ones in one of the most important business capability B2B - Customer focus.

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

• Lead projects to localize and roll out of centralized systems, including the detailed planning and execution of the project/changes, data migration, external resources and go-live
• Close collaboration with market business stakeholders to understand and prioritize business needs and requirements
• Manage relation with 3rd party vendor for maintenance, support and new implementation activities
• Serve as solution architect responsible for driving the design and delivery of local B2B solutions (including Romania Direct Sales Logistics and EDI solutions)
• Work with Virtual team lead to understand existing tools that can deliver needs and plan in Roadmap
• Drive demand process to deliver new solutions as planned in the roadmaps
• Collaborate very close with other JTI IT teams for global solutions and platforms implementation in local markets

 Who are we looking for - Requirements:

• University Degree in Computer or Technical Science or strong IT background
• 3+ years of experience in the IT discipline with 1+ of those years in a complex IT environment
• 3+ years of SQL Server or similar
• 1+ exposure to IT architecture and solutioning for data flows among system and applications
• Experience in Logistics domain (basic WMS functionalities)
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate) is a plus
• Agile methodology experience is a plus
• Very good communicator, act as a Project Manager (planning, organizing and escalation)
• Ability to think clearly and act decisively, high organizing and prioritizing skills, proactivity
• Experience in business requirements analysis, solutions design and architecture, and project management (medium to large projects)
• Eager to understand and improve business processes
• Good financial and budgetary understanding
