WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE:

This position exists to deliver innovative and high-quality electronic devices, including our flagship products and provide technical support to our 3rd party manufacturing partner in ensuring the consistent production and quality of our devices.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical Support
    • Provide day-to-day technical guidance and support to the 3rd party manufacturer, addressing any mechanical engineering-related issues that may arise during production.
  • Quality Operation
    • Collaborate with the manufacturer to establish and maintain strict quality control standards, ensuring the consistency and reliability of our products.
  • Process Optimization
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the manufacturing workflow.
  • Problem Solving
    • Analyze and resolve mechanical engineering challenges, preventing or minimizing production delays and defects.
  • Product Improvement
    • Work closely with the design and development teams to implement design changes and improvements that enhance product quality and manufacturability.
  • Investment audit & asset management support
    • Coordinate investment audit in close collaboration with other functions and conduct periodic physical asset inspection. Support annual inventory check if needed.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer or a related field, Master's Degree of Mechanical Engineering is plus
  • Min. 5 years in EMS (Electronic device assembly) with excellent understanding of overall supply chain, manufacturing technology, process set-up, process validation and SOP support.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese. Japanese language skill is plus                                            
  • Functional Skills:
    • Manufacturing, Planning, Quality
    • Knowledge of electronic device's assembling
  • Master's degree of Mechanical Engineering is a plus
